Color My Flag Getting Started
Your first coloring duel, from spawn to a scored flag.
Color My Flag is a Roblox Party & Casual duel from Country Colors. You sit at a table or easel, a national flag appears, and you paint it while an opponent paints the same flag. The round is not a quiz where you tap a country name. It is a coloring accuracy fight. Pink stars on a United States field look funny in a thumbnail and lose in the client.
This page is the first-hour route. After it, learn controls, then accuracy tips. If you already know the loop and still lose, skip ahead to how to win.
Join and wait for a flag
- Open the official experience from the links hub. Max server size is 25. You do not need a full lobby to start painting.
- Let the avatar load as R15. If the table is empty, wait a few seconds. Do not hop the instant you spawn.
- When a flag appears, read it before you touch paint. Name the country in your head. Note stripe direction (horizontal like Germany, vertical like France, canton like the United States).
- Pick the largest field color first. Fill the green on Brazil, the red on Canada, the blue canton on the United States, then details.
- Submit or wait for the timer. Read the accuracy percent. That number, not chat, tells you if the hues were right.
What the first rounds are teaching
Early flags are often simple bicolors and tricolors: Japan, Poland, France, Germany, Italy. They still punish swapped order. Poland is white over red. Indonesia is red over white. Monaco is red over white on a shorter ratio. If you paint on instinct, you will gift the round to anyone who opened similar flags.
Official media shows the lesson in one frame: a player at 0.67% with the wrong Portugal beside a player at 99.9% with green and red. The coat of arms is not optional flavor. It is part of the score if the template includes it.
What to ignore on day one
- Codes. The codes hub is empty until a string is verified. Do not stall in the lobby hunting a gift box.
- Gamepasses. 2x Cash, 2x Wins, 2x Streak multiply later. They do not teach stripe order.
- Scripts. There is no trusted auto-painter for this experience. The scripts hub explains the risk.
- IQ panic. IQ is a stat, not a hidden rank that blocks play. See player stats after you can finish a flag.
A simple first-session plan
Play five rounds without restarting the client. After each score, write one miss: wrong order, wrong hue, missed emblem, or slow finish. Those four buckets map to the rest of the wiki. Order misses go to similar flags. Hue misses go to the flag color chart. Emblem misses go to hard flags. Slow finishes go back to controls.
Then open the easiest flags list and grind those countries until you can hit them cold. Japan, Poland (once you remember the order), France, Germany, and Italy should be automatic before you chase Mexico or Portugal.
How this wiki fits the first hour
Keep one extra tab: this page plus the tools hub. After a loss, do not queue instantly. Spend thirty seconds on the country you just missed. The tier list tells you whether that country is supposed to be hard. If it is Japan and you still lost, the miss is process, not difficulty.
Color My Flag launched on 4 August 2026 and is already live with millions of visits. You are not waiting for release. You are learning a duel that already has opponents who memorize palettes. Beat them with a slower, correct brush, then speed up.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Color My Flag coloring duels.
Is Color My Flag free to play?
Yes. It is a free Roblox experience. Gamepasses multiply Cash, Wins, or Streak and are optional.
Do I play alone or against someone?
You paint in an online duel. Accuracy is compared against an opponent, not against a quiet single-player book.
What should I do after my first win?
Read Accuracy Tips and Similar Flags. Then check codes and stats so Cash and Streak make sense.
Why was my accuracy tiny if the flag looked close?
Wrong hues and swapped bands score near zero. Match official colors, not a nearby pink or cyan.
